I have just added a page to my website For Kids and Teachers with an art activity for kids and teachers to explore after reading If You Hold A Seed. Lily tried it out. This is her forest and moving deer.

I have another exciting bit of news to share… I am off tomorrow to New York!!! If You Hold A Seed was selected to be included in the Original Art Show at the Society of Illustrators. The fine folks at Running Press are flying me down. Some of the fantastic illustrators – Isabelle Arsenault, Peter Brown, Oliver Jeffries, Jon Klassen, Seth… eeeep! So much fun. This will also be a chance to meet with my editor Marlo Scrimizzi about the book I am working on, Shadow Chasers. Thank you Running Press – you are an amazing publisher to work for!
